I've got an '06 GT vert.  Over the past year, a persistent rattle/squawk has developed at the header.  The noise only occurs with the top latched closed, so I figure it's got to be in the top/top mechanism.  Recently (24,000 miles), the rattle/squawk/clunk noise has become constant over any road imperfections.  It's very loud, not a minor dash rattle or body shimmy.  I've lubed and tightened about everything I can find, but to no effect.  

The car was with the dealer for a week in November.  They didn't/couldn't/wouldn't (?) fix it.  

Has anyone else experienced this?  Any clues for fixing this?  It's too cold to just leave the top down all the time!
