Other than the switch being on the negative battery post (not that noticeable), everything is 'stock'. Are you saying for the show you enter you can't have any after-market parts like that?

Like many others with a GT-H, I've had the dead battery issues presumably the result of not driving the car for weeks at a time. I've been using the battery tender successfully to maintain the battery. When I read the earlier posts by 19again, I decided to order the multi function relay to see if this fixed the root cause of my problem. I removed the battery tender, installed the relay,and waited four weeks before I attempted to start the car. What a difference! The battery was strong and the car started immediately -- completely the opposite result that I'd experienced for the past three years.

I am sorry to say the dreaded battery drain reared its ugly head this week on #352 
. Went to start her this evening and no juice. Now its been 2 weeks this Sunday since driven 
and that last trip was over 400 miles. So there is more to just the Multifunction Relay being replaced. Both radios [head unit and Sirius] were off and when I went to start her they showed off. Next week I will bring her to my excellent mech and see what he can find.

man rich, that does suck. that used to happen to me all the time. autozone battery tender 40 bucks and never had that problem again.....
