I bought #286 from a guy in central New Mexico who also owns #171 (he bought 2 at auction in Vegas, planned to keep one, sell the other).

So for now we can say #171 is in New Mexico also. Not speaking for the owner here, just trying to help fill out the list.

I rented #409 in Montana this summer.  I'm assuming it is still there.  It was owned by a locally franchised Hertz dealer and he told me he did not have to turn it back into Hertz and would keep the car forever.

No, I am not a dealer. Just a previous 1966 GT350H owner that never fell out of love with these great cars and their influence on the muscle car hertiage market , brought on by the union of Shelby and Hertz.

Tom, you said it best.  It is the influence, hertiage, and history that really makes the car.  The 40th anniversary to the GT350 is an awsome connection.  For me this is a way to own part of the history without cloning a older mustang.

Wow, that is great. The reunion of Shelby & Hertz and new The GT-H certainly sealed the deal for me too.
Rented in Orlando last year and now I own a black SGT.
Glad to hear 4 of these babies landed in such good hands.
I love the GT-H's.
