Nope it wasn't me or CMCVette? .  I didn't get mine until 2 months after this guy.

Updated list in post 30...didn't include 39mustang yet because I don't have the CSM#

2000 Vista Blue give or take a few...hopefully when the registry comes on line next month we'll know for sure...

We knew she needed a new car, the tranny quiting on her 02 Escape just excelerated
our plans. With the wedding fast approaching (June), we were forced to get the tranny fixed.
When new problems arose faster than we could keep up, I jokingly mentioned that Shelby Dude
was listing a GT500 for sticker.
She laughed and said "if I were going to buy a Shelby, it would be that gorgeous
blue 08 Shelby GT!"

really? I said....

I emailed Michael Morris the next day to inquire about the availability and he found a car
optioned the way we wanted in about an hour.....we kicked it around for a few days,
he was taking my dog Escape as a trade-in.....I tried to talk her out of it for days...
trying to make sure SHE really wanted this car.
The decision was made Labor Day weekend and off we were to Perry Georgia.
Factors out of our control led to us leaving Clifton NJ at 3:30pm on Saturday.
We drove straight thru to Perry, Ga, got there at 6:30am Sunday,.
MM came down, opened the dealership, we did the paperwork and were back on the road
by 8:30am. We got home just before 11pm with our new Shelby.

2000 miles driven in less than 30 hours.
Went to work the next day.
Drove to Dearborn that Wednesday morning for Team Shelby event.

Add #1516.  Hand shake ordered in August 08.  Wrong optioned vert came in November, said he had a fully loaded vert coming shortly after that.  I took delivery January 15   .  I took a chance turning down that first vert, but in the end it was worth it.  Every option except the for the shaker 1000....not worth giving up trunk space.  I will be contacting Tasca ford this spring to do a little upgrading

There were 2214 08SGTs total.
1397 Coupes
817 Convertibles

1121 V Blue coupes,: 148 automatics, 973 manuals

I noticed there are like 40 on either side of us.  I wonder how many are sold and where they are located.  I would have thought that the majority of buyers would be aware of the forum and be members but maybe not.  It will be interesting when the registry comes out to see.

I asked the same question for a Vista Blue breakdown but nothing has come out yet.

My current estimate is 1854 Vista Blue SGTs (1854+217 grabber orange + 100 BJs =2171)
1102 V Blue coupes,: 114 automatics, 941 manuals
752 Vista Blue convertibles: 186 autos,  566 manuals.

These aren't the actual numbers but I bet they are pretty close

Also based on the 26 BJ SGTs I found online (15 coupes and 11 verts), I'm estimating of the 100 total BJs, 57 are coupes and 43 are convertibles

So 217 GO Coupes, 1102 VB coupes and 57 BJ coupes = 1376
0 GO verts, 752 VB verts, 43 BJ verts = 795

so our VB Coupe / Auto is one of 114.

I just realized your car is a coupe. Mine is convertible. Anyway I am still looking for other blue convertibles with auto tranny and charcoal IUP....
