I know Wolfgang very well. He is from the First Mustang Club of Germany. I am the President from the Team Mustang Netherlands. He does good investigation work, tracing back rare Mustangs.

I have been on contact with him for some time, and he was kind enough to be one of guests of honor at the Mach 1 Registry dinner during the 45th in Birmingham. Great guy, and very passionate about the hobby. His site is top notch and the club magazine puts most others to shame.

I know, I know, I said #16 before, but that's what they told me. Now it's 13. Is it too late to send it back?

Colorado Mustang has one of these for sale.  They brought it to the Rocky Mountain Mustang Round-up last year.  Pretty cool car.  I guess only five exist in the US.

Here's a link to their website:

Here's a link to a real good history on the Mexican Shelby's:

Funny, I just noticed that some of the photo's in this link are also from Eduardo Velazquez.

These are for sure unusual! Combine a Shelby, Grande, Coupe, and put it in a mixer... buy it if available as rare and unique

These are very rare indeed. I've saved some pictures from the web and there are very few of these '69's around. They all have black vinly top to cover the extended c-pillars unique to this car. I have some color pictures of them in blue, red, silver, and this or a simular gold one with 70's 5 slotted rims. Also , a black n white photo that appears to be a black car. Besides the odd shaped c-pillars, the black painted front bumpers show up on many off them as well.

Now if only we could find some color picture of the 67 Shelby de Mexico coupes (other than the 2 black n white photos that float around from time to time.) Lil' Red had some siblings, so it seems.

Hi Angelo,

Welcome to the Team Shelby boards!!!!  :beerchug:

That is one very rare '69 Shelby you have there. It looks like it is still in very nice shape. I would definately like to see some more pictures and it's story, when you have a chance.  :lurk:

I am looking for any information about the black 67 gt350 that was delivered to mexico.  I have found 2 pictures on one website but that is all.  Does anyone have any more information or pictures of the coupes from 67?

There is so little info out there on the '67-68's, nevermind the '69's. I assume your talking about some of these pictures below. If not please post up what you've found. I read there were about 200-250 made each year. There are a couple of threads on the SAAC Forums that go into more details. I'm always looking for pictures of the '67-'68's.

I have always liked the look of the 69 Shelby coupe--might have to put one on the bucket list.

That '69 is in very nice shape. I spoke with the owner for a few minutes (nice guy), He mentioned the GT emblems were unique to his car and each one seemed to be a little bit different.

Hey Iceman,
Are your two pictures one of the same as the ones I posted?
