The initial hidguy kits came with 35W bulbs, which melted the stock plastic foglight housings. The present kit (which I have) includes 25W bulbs and they seem to have solved the problem. I've had the 6000K HID headlight and foglight kits installed for almost a year and no problems whatsoever -- and I have kept a very close eye on the foglight housings.

- I have LED switchbacks for the turn signals that are housed in clear housings. They flash [amber-off/amber-off] during the day when the lights are off. When the lights are on they function as driving lights and function the following way: [white-amber/white-amber]. They are 6000K xenon-white
- I have LED fog lamp bulbs installed in the stock housings. They match the switchbacks whitish-bluish (6000K xenon-white) of the fogs.
- I have the PIAA lamps (high/low beams) installed in stock 07 housings, but the color is noticeably off from the other lights.
While the lights function quite well, my personal preference would be for a perfect (or near perfect) whitish/bluish color match on all of them. You would think that by now, the aftermarket would have developed a decent LED solution for the headlamps as well - even going so far as to develop aftermarket housings with lenses, and reflectors optimally suited for an LED application. LED headlight tech has been with us for a solid 5-6 years now, and it's becoming more "mainstream" with ever passing day. Probably just a matter of time before hitting the Mustang aftermarket. For now, the only option we seem to had is from HIDGuy.
