Can someone repost pictures on the install. The pictures are no longer available. Also on the install of the stripes, it this a wet install (using soapy water below the stripes) or a dry install (the stripes "self-adhere"). Need  a little direction on this before I do the install. I'm sure its easy but just being anal about it!! Thanks!! Cant wait for the fished look!!

Back before this thread was even started I installed Stripes on 2 cars My wifes GT/CS and my GT500.  The attached thread has dimensions and basically you can use the hood bumper on the fender to center the top of the stripes up. I have installed them dry and wet. Wet is the way to go.

Just recently I installed a set of stripes on my wifes new GT500 and i put 1 drop of dishwashing soap in one of those little 1 ounse bottles of eye class cleaner bottles. Spray it on the fender and the back of the stripe. A mist will do. Then install the stripe. Wrap the edges of the fender too and cut it off when you have the stripe in place and then just push the stripe onto the fender lips.

Hey Grabber thanks for keying me in on my pictures being gone.  I have a revised writeup I will do in the next few days so I may need to start a new thread so it is not buried 6 pages back.  Stay tuned.

Ordered the stripe kit for my 09' convertible and had them installed this week. Can't thank John enough. Came out awesome. Will post pics soon.

These were initiated by Shelby way back in his racing days...they were actually sprayed on with a rattle can of paint...The Grand Sport Vettes simply "copied" a Shelby idea, so that really makes THEM the posers...
