This may be a repost, but I just caught on...

Is the 2010 Roush 427R in competition with the 2010 GT500?  Apparently not... the 427R is more expensive, and honestly, doesn't offer that much more performance over the Mustang GT... it takes longer to stop, gets a .90 on the skidpad (I think the GT is .92 with the handling pack) and the quarter mile times and 0-60 isn't all that much better.

So, I guess unless you're biased to Roush and want to spend another 5k-8k over the GT500...

You'll really be scratching your head when you go to resell the Roush, and nobody will offer more than used Mustang GT value. Trust me, I know (unfortunately).

Back when we were all struggling to get our hands on the 2007 GT500 for anything under $70,000 the Roush looked like a bargain.  The Roush 427R would have been my plan "B" car to go to.
