When posting events please try to follow a few simple guidelines when creating your post:

When posting an event it should formatted as follows:

[Topic Title] Event Name
[Topic Description] Event Location/Event Date

So an event would look like this:

Cool Ford Car Show
Whitman, MA 8/23/10

Please post all the relevant information on the post. List things like the hours (from when to when), the exact address of the event for those that many be unfamiliar with the area of coming from outside it, if there is an entry fee, and if there is an event link to the show's official website please provide that too.

(We're not gonna be sticklers, but try to answer the who-what-when-where)

Following the above, and providing the information needed, will give your event the maximum exposure and go long way to driving attendance.
