Okay, so I'm new at the whole car thing. I'm 16 and my first car is a 2000 Red Ford Mustang.

And I have a few questions that I would like to get answered.

What is the difference between a Mustang and a Mustang GT?

Can I add 2000 Mustang GT Performance parts into my 2000 Mustang?

and Where would you recommend getting performance parts? I'm looking to get my car going fast, accelerating fast, and sounding/looking good.

If you could help me that would be great. I'm new here, and i'm definately liking what I see.

V6 vs. V8 (GT).

Note: A 4 cyl. was available in the earlier model Mustang.

Yes and No. Suspension mods, appearance mods, wheels, etc., generally yes. CAI, TB, engine components, etc., generally no. Some have added dual exhaust to V6s, but mods required, including cuting the rear valance (generally).

I'd recommend any of the site's vendors. I would also recommend checking out "The Mustang Source Forum". It's a great site geared more for Mustangs.
