I'm in for dinner, but it will have to be late afternoon or  evening as the pony cruise on Friday is a must do. The welcoming ceremony is Friday night, but I could miss that.

The dinner I was talking about will be after the pony run, but before the evening get together at the hall.  The agenda states there will be some down time between the two.

I'm staying at the Park Lodge (option on the registration sheet) where the event is based, as I think the majority of folks are.  It may have filled up by now.  If so, I'd check with the organizers for back-up options.

I'm going to try to make it Saturday but it is still tentative.  Can I register that day at the event or is preregistering necessary.

I believe that as long as you are there before the judging begins you will be allowed to register. Last year was my first year and I only went on Saturday and got there before 9am and was able to register for event.

I'm staying at the La Quinta. Right by the interstate. It's about 15 miles from the park.

Well, Count me out. I just got sent to Vancouver, B.C. for work for a week. Won't be able to make the event at all.

Had a great time at the show on Saturday.  I think I heard that there were over 900 registered.  I just wished that the awards could be handed out at the show, instead of waiting until that evening at the banquet.  A lot of us can't be there and from what I was told you had to be present at the dinner in order to recieve anything.  It was a great time anyway as there were many TS members present.

Thank you very much for coming out and enjoying the day with us.  We ended up having great weather and had a good time. I will post up a link to my photobucket account for everyone to see.

I was at the awards dinner and anyone who didn't attend and won they just put their trophy aside. If you won anything I'm sure if you contact them they would send it to you. I believe Firekiller took 2nd place, Don't know who won 3rd. They usually post the winner on the web site.

Any idea when the 2011 winners will be announced?  I keep checking but their site has not been updated.

That is really sad. She looked OK for her age last month at the event. She was the heart and soul of that club. Thanks for the update.

These are two of her cars. For us old folks the Honey West Cobra:

I am told this is the only 66 Supercharged GT350 to come from the Shelby Factory. It was her husband's car.
