Hi All,
I just brought into Canada a 08 Shelby GT. It has high intensity discharge headlights, and a marker orange lights on the front bumper. My Ford dealer is trying to install daytime running lights, but is having a problem. My car does not have fog lights (is that true that some shelbys gt come without fog lights? my switch in the passenger compartment has a position for turning on fog lights), and in Canada the fog lights are usually used on the vehicles imported from the US to be daytime running lights.
My dealer says that one cannot use marker lights in Canada to be accepted as daytime running lighs, but I find it hard to believe. There are Chrysler minivans which have these orange intense marker light on during the day.
