I just visited his site to see what new prints we had and saw this!
Thought I'd post this up for anyone who might be interested.

Very cool. I wonder if number 49 is available, that is my car number.

There was one on display at Carlisle, along with other pieces of his work. It is even more outstanding in person. I have his 'Shakin it to the streets' Mach 1 print hanging in my living room. Well worth the money.

I know, I know, I said #16 before, but that's what they told me. Now it's 13. Is it too late to send it back?

I have his "Flashback on the Track" Numbered to match the last 3 digits of my VIN.

Nice work, except the 10 spokes on the 68. And I don't think that if I had all those wonderful rides that I would put them out in the forest and snow!

It was either that or the lovely 5 spoke LTD/Galaxie/station wagon hubcaps in '68...

There were no 10m spoke wheels offered in 1968. Those are 1967 wheels. I know, fussy, fussy.

Nooo....
More like wrong-y, wrong-y. The '68 cars came standard with a 5 spoke style wheel cover, with a 10 spoke wheel option. The wheels are similar in design to the '67 10 spoke wheel, but not the same. The '68 wheel has a hub face that is 1/8" thicker to clear the different brake caliper used in '68. (Source: Shelby American World Registry 1997, page 813)
In '67 the standard steel wheel equipped cars had a T-Bird sourced wheel cover, with the Kelsey-Hayes Mag Stars as an option, as were the 10 spokes.(Source: Shelby American World Registry 1997, page 613)

This link to a copy of the original 1968 Shelby GT sales brochure might help clear things up...

I have his "Any Color so long as it's black" framed and in my office. I like his work, but some of it can look a bit cheesy and overdone. His more simple work is best imo. That one is nice for sure- thanks for sharing that link!

My favorite part is the new Shelby driving by looking at all the old ones frozen in place.
