Well, sure. If you do some reasearch on here you will find many that love Tasca, and many that have had issues, but at least you do have an authorized mod shop in your area.

umm, yeah.
That's the problem living here-nothing close. Tasca and SA are about the same distance. Hyland isn't very close either. It would be nice to have one in the central part of the country (like Chicago area) so you could drive the Shelby there and have someone follow in your other vehicle to get home rather than drive for hours/couple of days then fly back.

If you draw a 500 mile circle around the three mod shops, I'd say that a whole lot of people on here would call you one of the lucky ones.

I would live well outside every one of those circles, so how would I be lucky one of the lucky ones? Hyland is the closest at about 700 miles-but considering I'd have to drive through all of Chicago, Gary Indiana and Flint Michigan to get there and back, I wouldn't really call that lucky.

Sorry, I was just trying to help. I wasn't sure if you knew where Sean's place was. Google maps said it was 524 miles from the center of Roscoe, IL to Sean's based on driving distance. I thought that was pretty good, as they are good people to work with. Yep, driving through Chicago and Gary can be fun for sure. I've done it a few times buying cars and driving out to race tracks up in that area.

Jeff Harris in Bastrop, TX works on a ton of Shelbys. If you are in the know on Team Shelby, he is who you go to for serious engine work and can do the simple stuff too.
All of us in San Antonio go to Maximum Velocity. They specialize in SVTs, and Shelby GT500s. They also have an exclusive deal with Jon Lund for this region.
Both I would trust with my car, and an envelope full of money in the glovebox to boot.
