Dallas had one- Quantum Performance, but it is no longer in business. I only trust my Shelbys with two people in Texas-

:worship: Jeff Harris in Bastrop, TX works on a ton of Shelbys. If you are in the know on Team Shelby, he is who you go to for serious engine work and can do the simple stuff too.

All of us in San Antonio go to :worship: Maximum Velocity. They specialize in SVTs, and Shelby GT500s. They also have an exclusive deal with Jon Lund for this region.

Both I would trust with my car, and an envelope full of money in the glovebox to boot.

What he said!

Michael Rouscher (L&M engines) in Philly is REALLY good around a Ford engine as well.

umm, yeah. :hysterical:

That's the problem living here-nothing close. Tasca and SA are about the same distance. Hyland isn't very close either. It would be nice to have one in the central part of the country (like Chicago area) so you could drive the Shelby there and have someone follow in your other vehicle to get home rather than drive for hours/couple of days then fly back.

For you great lakes folks, C&M out of Hubertus WI is highly recomended. Its just outside of Milwaukee. Marv is the owner. He has done all my race and street stuff and I have never had any issues. He's busy so plan accordingly

What about MRT in the Dearborn MI area. They are close to Chicago, right?

Jeff Harris in Bastrop or Maximum Velocity Performance in San Antonio are the only places I would let work on my car.

Isn't SHM a poorly recommended shop to do business with? Almost all of the Mustang sites I have been on have given SHM a bad name but say that his books are a good pace to learn some info.
