Tony I know Ron has sent you a message but we are interested. I had a question-is it to Gardena or Vegas? I was unsure if Shelby was doing the run from Cali again and if yes, are we starting there?

Price quoted was from hatfield, pa to Vegas and back to hatfield, pa. Please have Ron contact me directly if you guys are interested. My email is tony356@comcast.net

Currently we have a lot of tire kickers but I think 3 definates for this transport. If we cannot fill the truck I'm sure the price is going to change. We need to book by the end of the year so we have a little time. Keep me posted.

Ron and I tried to arrange transport for the Mustang 45th in Birmingham. we ended up getting screwed when everyone backed out. So be sure you get deposits! But yes we are very interested and I just emailed you.

Thanks for the insight. At this point we have 3 folks that I would say are definite and I was contacted yesterday by someone interested about this hauler. We will handle all payments after we find out who is in and really wants to go. No money is due now but will be needed by say February 1st.

Just an FYI:

To drive your car out will run about $1000 in fuel plus tolls, plus hotels, plus meals, etc. In addition to the extra 6-8 days one would need to take off of work the total charge to drive out and back will quickly approach $2000. While it is cheaper to drive, hauling the car and flying out will run around $3200 if we can fill the hauler so it is not as obscene as it initially might look.

CAL, so I obviously don't need a transport " sorry, I had to rub it in since you have a sweet car and will be driving it on the track ", Anyway, I enjoyed reading about you and your daughters trip and how exciting it was to see pics of your car. Yo! As we say here in the right coast. Thanks for the post and the kind words. The 350 will be there and I hope to do it proud. I bought the car to track it and that is what I am doing. I am bringing my son on this trip and he is thrilled. We will do some sight seeing on Tuesday and Wednesday and hit the road running with Shelby stuff Wednesday night and then the track Thursday and Friday. Please make a point of grabbing me and saying hello. I am honored to be heading to this event and can't wait to catch up with my left coast Shelby brethren. :shift:

It looks like there will not be enough support to fill a hauler from the NE region for the bash. I will be going and will be shipping my car out. I understand in this economy how this kind of expense can be hard to justify. See y'all in Vegas.

Re-awakening this thread... Trying to get a count of those in PA or NJ who have made arrangements with either Reliable or Gran Turismo for their vehicles for the Bash...

Myself and RED07GT500 are going to be transporting our vehicles back no Northern NJ (but not out to SAI) and we were hoping to at least get a 6-vehicle truckload back so that it would be a direct trip with no loads/unloads... Would also save some money if we can fill the truck coming back...

Please let me know...
