Jeff, the Red Roof is ok. no probs. We have driven past this place every year and said we were gonna stay there, when Gregg mentioned it, I booked it.

Planning to depart Red Roof at 7am... Going to grab something to eat and fill up the gas tank at the station right next to Casino... Leave there at 8am...

Red Roof is just fine for me and my co-pilot... But the Casino is a great place for everyone stopping in ABQ to meet up on Tuesday Morning...

Now to finish packing all my crap for the trip...

We arrived in ABQ today! No problems on the drive other than some early morning rain. Lots of DPS and other LEOs on US 287. Didn't see any on I40 west of Amarillo in TX because they were working a very bad accident. Lifeflight was there and the car looked horrible. Speed limit on I40 is 75 from Amarillo to ABQ in case anyone is wondering.

Four Shelby's leaving for Albuquerque this morning. Caravan will grow to 6 or 7 of us leaving ALBQ tomorrow morning for Vegas.

I saw a ton of Texas cars I had never seen before but somehow I didn't get to meet any of you! :banghead:

Don't know how that happened....

I figured most of them were from north of Austin as I know the majority of the Austin/Houston/San Antonio people. Guess I'll just have to meet you at the next Texas event!
