My 2012 vert GT500 SVT is my daily driver.  Does anyone recommend a particular tire to use during the winter here in Little Rock?  I was reading the stock tires shouldn't be used in cold weather (< 40 degrees).

Thanks for your help!

I guess you would have to drop a few rim sizes and increase your profile to find a winter snow tire. Maybe Tirerack?

Yeah, the stock tires do get a little slick during the winter. I drive mine all winter vwhen the roads are clear here in Pa. Drove it as low as  10 degrees F. last winter...defenitly have to watch your foot on the loud pedal!!

I went with Continental ExtremeContact DW's.  They are a great tire for the daily driver. There are a few posts on here about them if you do search.

My son is in the Air Force and stationed at Little Rock AFB.

I purchased a set of 2008 GT500 rims, had them powder coated and added Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires.  Ended up costing about $2k, but driving in cold weather is much more enjoyable.

I'm wanting to go with the Continental Extremes for winter and was wondering if I can use one size all the way around on the SVT wheels. Its a '07.
