Doug... I've volunteered for Sun, Mon and Tues 4/8, 9 and 10. You can meet me somewhere between your place and the city. We can go in together. I've worked in the city for years...

Yes, you should get an email confirmation with all the necessary details for the shift you have chosen. John has been busy with the Bash and the 50th at Carlisle. Look for it to arrive in the next week or so.

To all NY Auto Show volunteers,

Thanks for volunteering to help.  By now you should have received the other product information and the process on where to pick up your credentials.  You will need to wear black shoes and pants and when you arrive we will have a white 50^th anniversary company logo shirt for you to wear.

Please familiarize yourself with the vehicles and once there we can do a walk around with you and answer any questions that you might have about the car.  In addition, John Luft (company president) and Gary Patterson will be there all hours of all days to assist you with any questions that you might need assistance with.  It is most important that if you are not comfortable answering a question that you find one of them to assist so that accurate, consistent information is always relayed.

We are looking forward to seeing you at this historic event.

Gentlemen

I know this is short notice but I only bought my 08GT500KR on Saturday 31 March.... but I live in Manhattan on the 40th floor of a 54 floor apartment building.  I am in Chelsea about 2 blocks away from Macy's on 6th. I will be in NYC and out of NYC during the show but was wondering if any member would like to have a drink or 2 with me on the top floor of the my building on the 14th of April.  You will get a view very similar to that from the Empire Statre building at no cost - just bring your own bottle !!

PM me if interested, I will need to check things out with the building but should hopefully be good to go...

To all of our Shelby American Product specialists and volunteers.

This will be a very exciting show. Carroll kicked off the Cobra program publicly 50 years ago at this show.  To commemorate this we are bringing that same first Cobra (CSX2000) back to New York for this show and it will be displayed in the booth!!  In addition we will have the just released “Shelby 1000” that will be seen for the first time by the public at this show.  Also in the booth will be a GT350 red convertible that some of you saw last year and a couple of special 50^th anniversary edition cars!!

You can pick up your 1 day passes each day from Will Call.  It is located at the south side of the Crystal Palace in the Jacob Javit’s center.  You can actually see the Shelby display from where you will be picking up your passes.  You will need to show them your ID and tell them you are with Shelby American.  You may want to bring this letter to show that you are working with us.

Please e-mail with any questions that you might have.
