pony23 - Really like those red valve covers. Keep those pics coming. Those of us not having the stones to tear our motors down appreciate those pics.

5spd07GT - That color combo is great, don't see many of those around here

Hey did you ever get this back polished?

I'm thinking of doing the same thing, although $600 is a bit steep for me so I'm really on the fence about it.

Had a little spare time today so I tore off the stock supercharger. That was wayyyyy to easy. Think it took about 30 minutes. I was used to working on my 03 Cobra, that was a pain on that car. Also sent out the TVS for show polish. Can't wait till that comes back in about 4 weeks. Add a little show under the hood.

Are you curious to look in the intercooler to see if there are signs of oil buildup?

I ended up getting rid of the TVS just before I finished the install. Got a great deal on a 2.9 whipple. Also sold the 2008 and bought a 2010 GT500 which now has the Whipple on it. Put down about 680rwhp and the thing is a monster on the street.

So take it you like the Whipple better then the TVS setup?

The whipple definitely looks waayyyyyy meaner than the TVS. It would probably be at the same power level right now. If I ever wanted to turn up the boost I have some wiggle room now.

I ran the stock clutch on my 08 and it was still fine. Not sure if the TSB was done on it.

The stock clutch is still doing fine on the 10 also. I am not a drag racer so there haven't been any launches or really sticky tires on it.

I ran a TVS on my '10 for 15k miles, and I didn't baby it.  Not a whimper from the clutch. Definitely the best I've driven so far.

The one thing I don't see mentioned here that would go along with the boost psi using a 10% OD, is the fuel pump booster and or bigger fuel injectors.  Were those changed as well.  According to my research above 17psi on a 2010 or 18psi on 2011 would require these additions.  Thanks
