I have a 2008 GT500 that has a terrible rear wheel hop and the 1-2 shift is extremely grabby when it's cold. I already had the transmission removed and new synchros installed when it was pretty new. I drove a 2011 recently and the transmission is a huge improvement.

I appreciate any suggestions if you have experienced the same.

I have never had a manual shift car that was not stiff shifting until it warmed up. It's physics. The fluid is still thick until it warms. Low r's and soft shifts until they warm up or you will take out second gear.

There are many threads on wheel hop.

You need some suspension upgrades.

The 1 to 2 grind is very common, with lots of threads on it if this is what you are referring to.
