I need to start searching some barns
Whoever gets to work on that is lucky; that has to be a great feeling: when you finish restoring it.

The car really isn't in too bad shape. Most of the parts look to be rebuildable/salvagable. I'd have fun restoring that car.

Love it, especially the wheel covers. There's a lot there to work with, gonna make a nice restoration project.

I know, I know, I said #16 before, but that's what they told me. Now it's 13. Is it too late to send it back?

That's not bad at all. At least it's all together and mostly complete. My barn find of a '69 Mach 1 R code 4spd car was completely torn apart and the zip loc bags the guy put the small parts in completely deteriorated so I have buckets of hardware now. Hoping to start on that restoration in the next 2-3 years. It will be like putting together a puzzle or a very large model car. I've had plenty of practice on the 1/25 scale kits in preparation. LOL.
The 427 in my '70 was sitting next to the '69 in the barn and I bought it with the car with a set of NOS LeMans rods in the boxes still. They're now in the engine...

Now that takes me back to some good times, I had a 67 GT500 I hope it is still around and in better shape than that. The last time I saw mine was about 43 years ago I forgot alot of things about the car but seeing those pictures helped me to remember...thanks for posting them.

I would love to come across a barn find car--get it running and enjoy it for all to see as it is.

You know I may be alone on this, but I would rather spend my time and money trying to find a barn kept Shelby Mustang than investing into the lottery...
