I will post the template here, to make it work print it out and size it so the mounting holes line up the the mounting holes in their guards, use a pencil to trace, snip, sand and install. It may be a day or so since I have to drag the scanner copier out.

Can you scan in PDF format?

I can so if you scan in .jpg, I can print and rescan it into PDF then repost. I'm just not sure if it will retain 100% scale.

Yep I cant wait to see them. As far as the ones I currently have, no one has even noticed them. Not even other Shelby owners I have met. I haven't noticed and rocker chips either!!

Best way if the are under the stripe. Have a detail or someone like dent wizard tape off at the line and respray and clear. The factory stripe will make a perfect break. I had this done on my pearl infiniti and they did a perfect job. I also know others tgat have done the same thing.

As an alternative I did this to my GT500, I have a huge rock scratch more than an inch long (which is what started this whole front splash guard thing). I bought factory touch up, an assortment of good artist brushes. I used a IPA mixed 25% with water and cleaned the area. Then used a small artist brush with acetone to clean just the scratch. I used a very fine artist brush with the factory touch yp paint and began to fill the scratch. First brushing the scratch then using blobs to raise the scratch above the factory finish. Then used 3000 grit wet sand paper to level the blobs (be careful not to get to much sanding on the surrounding clear). Then used 3m compound on a q-tip to polish the repair. Then menzerna super polish followed by menzerna super finish on a yellow wax applicator to the repair and surrounding area to blend and further level. After that I waited 24 and topper with my usual selants and waxes. Worked well enough you have to laying on the ground to see it, but takes a while to actual find the defect.

OK got my final set today and I think they look great, fit perfectly. I had suggested they add a little more coverage toward the bottom edge and they did. Here are the pictures. Takes less than a minute per side to install or remove.




My design / template is on the right, the final product is on the left.


I am holding the final Jaeger design up to my design that is still mounted on the car to show the differences.

That looks great! I can't wait to get mine. They shipped them out today (Fast shipping!). I will probably replace the lower rocker panels (ground effects) at some stage since the leading part near the front wheel well looks like it got sand blasted. I think they are around $100 apiece from Ford. Shelby American has the carbon fiber ones at $472 apiece! Not sure if they are correct for a 2012 since they show for 2005-2009 mustangs.

That would not be the correct ones. There is a new link for 2010-2012.
