Hi guys looking for any info on a good place on drivers side of the firewall to run the line through for the boost line to the gauge pod.   Also is there a good place in the dash to grab power for illumination?  'thanks!

On the drivers side there is a rubber plug the wiring bundle runs through. Pull it out and cut a small hole in the indentation and push the boost tube through it. Open the hood and drop a pull wire down the the hole that has a bundle of wires running up through it. It is located right in the corner where the firewall and fender meet. You should be able to see the wire you dropped down through the hole you pulled the oval shaped plug out of . Tape the boost tube to the wire and pull it up into the engine compartment. Replace the rubber grommet.
As for the illumination, pop out your headlight switch. There is a black wire with a white tracer stripe on the right side bundle. That will power your gauge lights. They will also dim using this wire. It runs off of the rheostat. Just clamp your gauge light lead to to the wire and replace light switch. Hope this helps.
