Hey I installed the Shelby non supercharged gauge pod my 2007 Shelby GT. The pressure is now reading 20 - 40 lbs and the car is starting to miss. I think at one point it used to hit 70lbs. It now  has 11,000 miles.  Anyone know what the fuel pressure normally should be when I floor the gas pedal. That is when is misses the most. Thanks guys.

I have the GT500 dual-fuel pump on my SGT with supercharger.  Pressure usually around 40 lbs at idle, but under hard acceleration it jumps to 60-80 lbs.

Have you changed your fuel filter?  I change mine every 10K miles.

Also, bad spark plug and or spark plug coil can cause misfires - are you getting any check engine lights/codes?

Sam

A Port Injected EFI/PFI system is a High Pressure system and runs up to as much as 100psi.

If you used to see 70psi and you're only seeing 40psi now...You have a problem.

Like the other poster said, check your fuel filter first. If you can't blow through it, it's bad. Replace it and see if your FP comes back. If you can blow through it, it's not RESTRICTED (although it may still be "bad", as in dirty).

If it's not your filter, it's most likely a fuel pump problem or fuel pump supply (voltage) problem.

My SGT came with the gauge pod and the fuel pressure sending unit failed early on. It was reading like yours at first. I had a Ford tech tell me if it was too low it would throw a code or likely not run at all. I've heard of others failing also so I doubt I'll ever really trust what it reads unfortunately.
I would try the fuel filter first since it's relatively cheap and easy.
