i just put insurance back on mine two weeks ago and when the car sits for a few days it blows a bit of blue smoke on start-up,but thats it none at all after that.i want to take in in but not sure about the valve cover wire being put back on proper,i think it might be the valve seals.

Actually gas smoke is brown, usually from raw or unburned fuel.
It becomes black only when it's ignited outside of the combustion chambers.

It's common. Both of my SGTs did it on cold starts (the colder the temp the worse it was). It cleared up in a few seconds. Never noticed oil use.

yes i know it,s probly the seal,s but am worried about the security wire when they pull the valve covers,i have an extended warranty,just pay 50-100 deduct.and the car clears up right away and not at all no matter how hard i push her

Any gas powered engine that sits for an extended time will blow a puff of blue smoke on start up, ever notice your lawn mower do that after sitting for a long time. Dont worry this is normal, but if it keeps pushing smoke while you drive it around then that is not normal.
