Here are some tow hook install pictures. Very well made piece by FordFan on the forum (Kerry). He uses the Ford Racing anodized tow hook and makes a sturdy custom bracket to make it look like it was factory installed. If you do any road racing in your car, most tracks require a tow hook. Even ones that do not require a tow hook, it is always a good idea to install one as you don't want the track crew pulling your car off the track by the suspension and messing up the front bumper in the process, if you ever have a problem. Install obviously requires removing front bumper, cutting a section of the inner bumper, and about 4 hours of time from start to finish. Very well made piece!! I bought 2 extras if anyone wants us to install one on their car. While the front bumper was off, we fixed the passenger's side hood pin stud as it was loose. Here are some install pics.
And a few more of the exhaust cut-outs that I am very proud of. This has never been done before on a GT500, so Rick has the only GT500 in existence with long tube headers, Boss 302 side exit exhaust made to work on a convertible, and electric cut outs!!
Will post final exterior, interior, and engine box detail pictures after my detailer details the car on Saturday, then it is getting covered and ready for Rick to pick up next week and swap with his 40th. Can't wait to see his famous smile from ear to ear that he is known for when he see's his car for the first time since it was dropped off!!
