I think I missed something in the conversation, what is going to make the '07's and '09's much more desirable?

Just my opinion if the 015 doesn't look very retro and looks more European...I could be wrong and the 15 may be a big hit but I dought it.

It's photoshop. It's a pretty good job, but there are some tell tale signs.
Freedom exists because there are men and women willing to do terrible things to those who would threaten it.

It is the Marines, Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen who salute the flag, who serve beneath the flag, and who's coffins are draped by the flag, that allow the protester to burn the flag.

I'm not a Shelby guy, I'm not a Mustang guy, I'm not a Camaro or Chevy guy, and I'm not a Dodge guy. I'm a car guy. I don't care what the fender says, if it looks cool, is fast and fun to drive, It can be called a Poo-master 1000 for all I care. I'll still like it.

It is a PS. All the gauges are backward and the headlight knob turns counter clockwise. If you look at a right hand drive Mondeo, even they all turn clockwise. Not sure why they bothered with a picture because we know what a mustang interior looks like and what right hand drive is all about.

I assumed it was photoshopped until I realized the Mustang and a numbers on the gauges are not backwards so I'm not convinced it is. Yes, I realize the Mustang and numbers could have been shopped.

Got some news. Apparently the 2015 mustang will have a shorter trunk lenght. The head lights and tail lights will be changed along with the grill area. So far the only thing I am liking is the shorter lenght of the car. But this looks hopeful that I will be able to do that IRS swap.

4 cylinder mustang?? Back to the days of the K car.
But article states 310hp. I guess its all how you put that 310hp to the asphalt that counts.
Cant imagine what it will sound good...maybe like a queef?

If they do a Shorter Trunk, they should make it a Hatchback.

Looks descent, but the headlights look dumb and trying to reseamble the Audi's headlamps, and sounds like the tailights are a rehash of the 80's fox body tailight covers.I will say if the headlights were kept some what rounded and add on the original 05 Mustang GT concept taillights; ie the 68 taillights, this car would look badass. My .02!

Sounds like a nice car to do an IRS swap if they aren't changing it that much on chasis wise. I mean it has to be possible. They are running around with the s197 testing this IRS so that would be the only thing left to change to make this car perfect. Oh and maybe a fordmytouch upgrade.

Idk why they didn't include mytouch on the 13 mustangs. That would have been super cool.

I've said on here before that about 2003 i read an article talking about fords "vision " for the mustang. It talked about heading down the ford probe road. Smaller 4-6 cylinder and worse yet front wheel drive. Luckily it hasn't happened (yet) hopefully the "muscle car wars " will keep them going the direction they have the last few years.
That said i just bought my wife a new DD. Turbo 4 cylinder car. Its fun to drive. IF ford offered an ecobost mustang svo type package i would think about it. But if that ment they would be moving out of the v8 world then they can keep it. Personally i think they dropped a lot of funding into the development of the 5.0/5.8 platform to just scrap it.

The 5.8 comes from the 5.4 not from the 5.0, so there is no relation between the development of the Coyote and the 5.4/5.8...or do I have it wrong?

Nope, the 5.8 Trinity is a redesign of the previous 5.4 Condor. Similar in casting, but many, many differences. The 5.0 Coyote is a completely different engine. All in the modular family back to the 2 valve 4.6, but yet, very, very different.

The 5.8 is still produced in Romeo by hand, where the Coyote is assembly line built in the Windsor plant similar to the 4.6. The Coyote block is actually very similar in design to the 4.6 but with much more webbing, longer stroke, and then completely new heads.

Also, one interesting note, the only vehicle which used the non supercharged, 5.4 four cam engine was the Lincoln Navigator. I forget what years exactly though. So when you see a 5.4 Lincoln Navigator, that may not be the same 5.4 dog 2V that the F150's had. Most don't know that little secret. Edit: looked it up, most 1999's, but all 2000-2004 Navigators had a 4V 5.4L. (For all you project vehicle engine folks like me)
