Since I and a few others are only going on Sat, I would be up for a dinner on Saturday night.

This would be the list of Saturday night dinner for Team Shelby members. Please PM email and cel (if its possible) to be in contact with everybody). Anyone has a restaurant suggestion?

I'd be up for the dinner, if my hosts aren't planning anything.  There are several restaurants in the area - wasn't there one "on the square"?  Maybe the Longhorn Steakhouse?

At the show, if logistics and timing permit, on Saturday, perhaps we could all try and park in the same general area?  This might be tough due to everyone's different arrival times and the way NPD groups cars - I know Jim and Vic usually park in front of the stage.

Last year a bunch of us ate at Harry' Seafood Bar & Grill. It's downtown 1 block south of SS Blvd. Take a look, www.hookedonharrys.com

Sam,how you be. We tried to make it to Amelia Island but like some other events we missed ,it was just not in the cards this year.

Don't know how Jim feels about it but i could be talked into parking some place else, like the Shelby area.

Thats a possibility, but Val will not be able to park with us.....Lets talk about that..

Val decided not to go this year with me, so I am good for parking where ever.

Didnt have the Shelby last year so parking amongst the other snakes sounds like fun.

AND when I refer to snakes I mean the cars, not people like Vic.

Don't think so. The consenseus seems to be that if we're going to be parking with the other Shelbys and not with the club whats the point of an EARLY arrival.

That would mean that you OLD retiring folks can sleep in .

I am driving down on Friday evening and unfortunately cannot stay Sunday due to work requirements.  Just glad I can go Saturday.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone's great cars.  I am staying right next to the park, so I'll probably go in early so I can get the car cleaned up from the drive down.  Probably the worst part of having a white car is cleaning it up after driving it to a show.

Anybody doing the Pony Trails Cruise on Friday?  Did it last year and was a lot of fun with some great countryside touring.

DGGT500, FYI there is a self-service car wash just about 2.5 miles west of the park on Silver Springs Blvd. I think the street # is 3744.
It is'nt Boulevard car wash,if you see them you've gone to far.
