I had a set of the original Alcoas, and the "Shelby Forged" lettering was a real pain to clean and keep clean.  Anybody have any ideas of what could be done to help keep the letters clean or make them easier to clean?  Thanks, Scott.

I thought that S/A was going to have extras to sell around Christmas? I don't plan on buying them since 20's do not work so well on the track.

It looks like set are starting to make their way to EBAY and are already selling at a premium between $3.5K - $4K.  I think as direct supply depletes, prices will continue to increase.

What's sad is blueovalindustries is an eBay username selling a set at 4000. I hope they aren't a Shelby supplier or anything.

That's what I've always used too.

Get a soft bristle tooth brush, not a firm one. And they're cheap. I keep 2 or 3 "new in the package" tooth brushes in my detail bucket.

Jer stated on this thread or one of the others that they should be sorted through all the pre-orders and others who decided not to complete those orders sometime in Jan.  Then there will be some for sale.  He stated that he will be sending out an e-mail and give notice here when they are available.

UPDATE: In 2009, I drove cross-country with my wife from NY in the SGT and finally just MOVED here. I figured Vegas was lucky for me.
UPDATE: GT/SC upgrade completed at SAI on July 22, 2011.
Biggest UPDATE of ALL: Left Guitar Center and joined SA as Vice President, Shelby Performance Parts, August 2012.
