As I have posted previously, in February of this year I replaced the OE Eibach coilovers with Tokico D Specs and FRPP 'K" springs. The ride and handling were vastly improved, but not up to par when compared to my 06 GT. Something just was not right.
This weekend I replaced the Eibach sway bars, front and rear, with the same bars (Saleen) that I have on the 06. What an improvement. Much smoother, superior turn in and much quieter.
The front Eibach bar was binding at the radiator support bracket and the rear dog bone links were actually chewing into the bar. These issues definitely destroy ride and handling. The new set up moves freely - I am a happy man!
In looking at the Eibach bars next to the Saleens, they are definitely not as well made. Both front and rear were nowhere near symetrical side to side. This is another failure for me with Eibach. I tried their springs on my 06 initially and immediately removed them. They were terrible.
