What type of fuel should I run in my new Gt?

It should say in your owners manual but in my 2011 it requires 87 but reccomends 91 octane.
2011 GT/CS - Ingot Silver - Steeda Sport Springs, Koni STR.T shocks and struts, Hushpower Axle-Backs, 19" Matte Black Miro 111s, 275/40/19 Michelin Pilot PS2s all around, 2.8LC Kenne Bell Supercharger, Tiger Racing 302S fiberglass hood, Saleen Grill, and electronic cutouts

The '13's have sensors - so you can run 87 - but 93 will give you more h.p. :salute:

2013 manual recommends 87 and says 91 will provide more power. I read elsewhere that 87 provides 412 HP and 91 provides 420 HP.

thanks for the advice guys I've been running 91. Good to have an option on the fuel.

I just run the 87. 412 HP is plenty for the area I live in LOL.

I didn't buy my 5.0 for MPG!

93 octane smells good without the cats! :rockon:

Had to stop for a State Trooper license check yesterday on a two lane road. Two cars - three Troopers. Idled up along side them as they stood in the center of the road. (expecting trouble, as usual) I hand the guy my license. He looks at my car front to back...waiting for a comment on the exhaust...he smiles, hands me back my license and says, "drive safe - have a good day." Must have been a car guy! :shades:

You can really smell the unburned fuel behind my car! I'm really surprised the trooper didn't question the exhaust. Those guys around here have no sense of humor. Sheriff deputies and city cops are mostly cool - but the State boys take their shit seriously!
