Anyone change their hood pin lanyard?  What size drill bit did you use to drill out & what size rivet did you use for the new lanyard?

_{Harald I used a 1/8 drill I think with a 1/8 stainless rivet. Did you purchase the kit from SPP? What I found is the lanyard seems to be a bit to long. When I am flying down the highway they flop around. Others that I have seen, maybe originals aren't as long and seemed to be dressed better over the hood.}

Thanks  Did you snake them through/around hood post.  Thats how I noticed most were done and that eliminates the large loop flopping.  .
