Curious if anyone has installed a KB 3.6 on a KR?

I considered it but 2.8LC making 700 HP is plenty of power for me in the KR. You will have to lower the engine and notch the KR hood for fitment of a KB blower as I did. The engine strut bar will not fit with a 3.6 by about 1". I like the handling support with the KR strut bar especialy when your nailing it with torque.  :victory:

I wonder how badly you would have to modify the hood to fit with the 3.6LC.

Fcettner, were you able to put the stock tower brace on with the 2.8?

Yes - stock Tower Brace works with 2.8. 3.6 would fit but then the Tower Brace would not. The larger blower sits higher in engine bay.

So just go I get this right. The 3.6 can fit (without the brace) with lowering mounts and notching the hood a little?

I would like to take some measurements before I say it fits. I'll report my findings after some research.
