Right, but the heated seats are now standard on the 2014 GT500. Maybe better include a tissue dispenser in the dash.

Hey Shelbyville, Great point! Heated seats with tires that totally break loose at any temp below like 45 degrees! I don't know if you caught my thread last year but I was racing a Camaro last winter in my 550 hp car and when I went to third I got totally sideways at about 100 mph. By the grace of GOD and a little skill I got the car back! I had no idea of the cold weather tire issue! Now I have a '13 and I cannot imagine what would have happened in the 662 car! Does anybody know of a good winter tire and summer tire that will fit the stock rims? I really hate the stock tires. I was looking at some P-Zeros but they dont make the stock sizes as far as I know? I hate to say this but the stock tires scare me! denohew

Do you mean they scare you for cold weather driving or both hot/cold? I thought they were supposed to be very good for warm weather (70+ degrees). I have not driven my car. The dealer delivered it to my house and my wife put it in the garage on Nov 5th and that is where it is staying till I get back home some time in 2014.

No these tires are damn right scary in just a little cold weather! I want P-Zeros but do they make them to where they will fit the stock rims? Any input would be appreciated! denohew

Cooled seats would make FAR more sense for these cars but adds too much crap and there probably isn't enough room under there. Have to use perforated leather, add ductwork and a fan under the seat. And women in short skirts apparently don't like them. (from what I hear)

I went on the Shelby Factory tour in early Nov and the tour guide implied the ford factory build of the GT500 would end and you would need to send your GT to Shelby and have the conversion done by them like the current super snake procedure.

I was just at my local Ford dealer and they said next year they will not make Shelby GT500's next year they will be know as SVT Mustangs. Any one else hear this?

Yes, but these are for the 2014 MY; when his dealer told him no Shelby's next year (if true), he was talking about the 2015 MY (IMO since we know they are building 2014 MY Shelbys).

The dealer said when they went to order a 2014 it came back as a SVT not a Shelby. They have one there a gray one($67k with a $15k mark up) and they told me I could not order a 14 as Shelby. Guess we will have to see what happens.

Well I have an order sheet and a DORA for a 2014 and they both say SHELBY GT500.
