Formfit is by Covercraft and is an indoor cover only. The satin stretch by coverking sold by Shelby is comparable. Unfortunately I am not familiar enough to comment about any outdoor covers.

I want to sell my car cover I got with the shelby for one that is softer on the inside because I don't use the cover since I am scared it will scratch the car.

That's exactly what I am doing. I am ordering the Satin Stretch from Shelby in the body and stripe color that match my car. I believe the Coverking and Covercraft are of the same quality (I had swatches sent from both manufactures).

You are right, of course.  But my garage is my "man cave," too.  I just want to go out there on a moment's notice and admire my brand new GT500 without having to remove a car cover.  I'll bring a six pack and polish the car and growl like Walt Kowalski, "Ain't she sweet."  On the inevitable day when I realize the novelty has worn off, I'll probably order a car cover, but not one day sooner.

Even though I got the "approval" to buy the cover, I'm having a hard time parting with the money. It's been setting in my cart for over a week.

here is the cover from shelby, it's super soft and fits very tight, I'm impressed.

It is a very nice cover.
Have one for my 07.
Was ordering one for the 13, but the wife told me to "hold on, Christmas is coming"
So, I will see what she is up to soon enough.
If not, I will be ordering right after the Holidays.

Shelby has two one with a snake and the other with stripes oh and one with super snake stripes . I had one for my GT 350 and looked great .

I still haven't bought one..  I am terribly anal about anything touching the paint.
