My kudos to Steeda for addressing this issue in an open forum.  For Boss Dr. I hope you get a phone number and are able to speak with someone in power at Steeda.  I would encourage you to not be so hasty because of one persons attitude.  We have no way of knowing wat actions were taken against Gus and it would be sad to ruin the reputation of good company because of one person.  I have not had any deaalings with Steeda as I use Kesatie Motorsports in Sarasota and they actually handle all of my parts orders.  Matt Kesatie and his crew are great and have made me a happy person.  I hope everything works out.

It only takes ONE Bad Apple to spoil the whole barrel............. and as I have found out yesterday......it only takes one Dead Lobster in the Tank to spoil all the remaining LIVE ones.  (Chef Ramsey, Kitchen Nightmares).

Apparently, TJ isn't interested in talking. I really didn't expect anything different, anyways.

I I won't monitor this thread anymore, but it remains as a warning for ya'll. :)

I haven't had a run-in with Gus so I guess I'll keep buying Steeda parts until I do.

I have talked to Matt Neal with Steeda who listened to my experience, investigated the incident, and got back to me promptly as he stated that he would. Some things like my bank taking their time to process my refund are beyond Steeda's control, but Matt apologized for how Gus treated me, assured me that it wouldn't happen again, listened to my issues about the product that was returned, and promised to take the actionable items up with the design team. He went so far as to ask me what Steeda could do to make things right, and I told him that his actions and follow-up satisfied me completely.

In short, caca occurs, and a company cannot control what each individual employee does. The company can only try to make things right when things go wrong, and clearly Steeda cares about the customer experience.

When I broke my engine at the dragstrip, I don't know what I would have done without Matt Neal, Scott Boda and Chad Kroll. They leapt into action, found someone to rebuild, removed the engine, sent it off, and then installed the engine, which fired up the first time the key was turned (Chad did the engine install). Except for the actual rebuild, they handled ALL the work I didn't know how to handle.

Hi Guys, just wanted to update with how things concluded on this issue. I've included a quote from the Boss Doctory and also added a link to the Boss302 forums where things were resolved in a satisfactory manner for all involved.

It's a shame that the Boss Doctor had to go through all that for a Resolution.  I never go back to a place that gives me a hard time over a refund.

if i were steeda i would also insist that boss doctor  have "the springs on them" after the whole frustrating experience. That would be customer service and would certainly grab my attention. Nice looking boss btw.

I had a similar problem with Steeda a few years back. I was so turned off about the experience, I never bought from them again. I deal with Ford Racing products only and have not looked back.  They go out of their way to make sure customers are satisfied .
