I have a 2010 Ranger with 4 wheel disc brakes and TPS. I am planning to purchase a set of 2012 / 2013 Mustang GT 18" Wheels & Tires (New Take Off's) They do not have the "TPS".

<01> Will the Wheels fit my Ranger?

<02> Putting these on my Truck without the TPS, the Light will come on. Will the Dealer be able to turn the Light out for me I don't really care about having TPS. ?

Not sure if they will fit but the dealer will not be able to turn off the light for you. So you either liv with the light or you swap them from the old rims.

The bolt pattern will fit. Based on my experience of putting mustang rims (2005) on my Escape (2008) it's likely the hub will fit as the mustang bore is greater. Be aware that unless you get them centred properly you will experience wheel wobble (mine still has a wobble at 130kph).

The 2012 mustang rims should have tpms unless the previous owner removed them. The question remains if the sensor type is compatible.

Dave, for TPMS, the sensors from American Muscle are not expensive. The new style (2011??) is part of the valve stem, knock the tire bead off, reach in and replcace valve stem and TPMS and refill tire. Have ford dealer reset the light.

Had to do that with the Shelby when I first got it.

Ford wanted $400 for one tire to replace the TPMS, I looked at them and said all four, the reply was no, just one. If I remember correctly, it cost me about $50 bucks and had a local tire store balance and replace all the wheel lugs and install the sensor for me.

Just Ordered a set of these for just $550.00 with FREE Shipping. They have TPS so I should be good to go. If the Computer in my 2010 Ranger doesn't pick up the Sensors in a week, I will see if Ford Dealer can do their Magic.
