[svt13]

Ok so here is an exhaust system besides the side exhausts that I may pull the trigger on. This is from corsa and as we all know corsa is actually one of the few makers that make a drone free exhaust.

This is so far the best sounding axle back I have seen from either borla and magnaflow. I like the black diamond finish. This exhaust literally sounds almost exactly like this hennessey venom gt skip towards the end in this video

Waiting for someone to take the plunge before I do as usual


EDIT: the only thing I don't like is I think 4'' tips are too big. The rear tips probably shouldn't be bigger than 3''

LOL - Are you looking for MORE mod remorse ? Those cans look like they hang down quite a bit (but the diamond black finish is sweeet !) They look like they belong on a corvette.

YES I LOVE mod remorse lol. It's ok I SWEAR I am almost done haha.  http://www.corsaperf...px?product=1149 on their website they look better. I like how they keep the cut the same unlike borla and magnaflow that made them shapped different from OEM.

But again I'll wait for someone else to pull the trigger and post pictures before I do anything.

Pretty hard to improve on the '13's stock sound. Expect the Corsa to be raspy with the X vs H pipe.

Hmmmm. Well even if I were to do this. It woudn't be anytime soon. I have other things that come first on the list.

Stock exhaust has no drone

Doing an exhaust system is probably the best supporting mod you can do. Think about it like this, is it easier to breathe with your hand covering your mouth (stock exhaust system) or with no restriction on your mouth (aftermarket full exhaust system) and apply this when the car is under harsh performance. I did exhaust first for this exact reason, plus is sounds amazing once its freed up ….. just my 2 cents

Problem with that theory is the 2013 is the exception. The exhaust is already pretty freed up and on top of that all aftermarket alternatives sound like complete ass and drone when with past shelbys it was the opposite. So far corsa is the only company to come out with a proper sounding drone free exhaust that adds some hp. Right now my concern is not power. I rather use the 662 hp I already have.

From my understanding its pretty much the same exhaust as the 2011-2012. So it’s two and three quarter inch tubing with the exact same bending as the 2011-2012, and then the same manifolds, which are very, and I cant emphasize “very” restrictive. Correct me if I’m wrong?

They sound very similar to my Corsa Extreme axle backs.

Starting to sound like someone is having "mod remorse" plus the exhaust is not freed up in stock configuration by any means.

I have mod remorse from putting on the UCA and watts link before having my dealership fix my car. Stupid of me to have done that. Now I have to go back to stock because they are pulling every excuse out of the book to not touch it because they are incompotent so I'll probably end up switching to the roush UCA and an adjustable panhard bar. May even sell my bobs LCAs and go with the roush LCA to avoid further bs from them.
