I am planning to sell my 2008 S-GT #1270. 7125 miles, and every option that a collector would want, including navigaion and the manual transmission. Asking $31,500. but will entertain any reasonable offers on the car. Posted it last year on eBay, and received interest, but decided to store it and post it this spring...so here it is. California car that transfered with me in a job move to Illinois. Garage kept. Adult driven. Never seen rain and absolutely babied. Two kids headed towards college and a two car garage with 3 cars is making the car an expendable luxury. For the serious, looking for a "keeper" car, this is the one. Everything original, no modifications and detailed records down to the premium gas receipts. Apx. 700 rag tops of this vista blue/black interior 2008. You know the car...

Please contact me if you are interested.

I have been looking for a SGT convertible in good condition, so I am interested.
I'm in the Seattle area, so not so easy to drop by and look at it.
Could you send me more information or call?

I hope, whatever he does, he does not trade it in, most dealerships only recognize the SGT's as a Mustang GT and will give him Kelly blue book price for an 08' Mustang GT. I know that is how I got my steal for only $22K.....

Not sure if it has sold!  $31K is kind of steep but I've seen them go for that price especially if they are have ultra low miles, documentation, and ALL original.

I looked at one in NJ and it had only 2K miles on it and when I called the guy back to place a deposit he had it sold already.    We must remember as SGT owners that these Shelby's are 5 & 6 yrs old now and they are only going to become fewer in numbers as the years tick by!!

Did the one in New Jersey have 1328 miles on it? If so I bought that one on February 27th and drove it home. I love it !!!!

That was his name. Thanks very much.  I was already at the airport to head that way and he called and said that if I had changed my mind another person called and offered him a deposit. He really didn't like reducing his price for me, I'm glad that I sent a deposit  :)

Yeah, he was a tuff cookie to deal with.  He was quite demanding and wanted cash when i was speaking with him.  I told him I will not carry that much cash on me and he would have to accept a bank check.  He then wanted me to set up an account with his local bank so they/he could verify that I had the money.  He was a duzie!

You got yourself a great car, and it was meant to be as I found mine about 30 days later.  They are identical cars so I feel good in knowing that your car went to a good home.  Are you driving it daily?

He definitely was a duzzie and tough. He, also, tried the cash on me deal on me and I said no way.  He called my bank and checked up on me then made me drive to his bank to process the Bank's check while we waited. Glad you got a good one; I love mine. She isn't a D.D. but does get driven on the weekends and on special occasions. Special occasions are like when I'm off work and the sun is shining. :)

The safest way to buy a car:

Buyer and seller each open an account at a credit union. $5 balance in a savings account. Buyer wire transfers purchase price into his account a d goes to inspect car. If ok buyer and seller to to credit union sit with officer who takes keys. Buyer has teller transfer funds to buyers account and teller gives keys to buyer. Seller gets cash check or wire transfers to his bank. Parties close accounts. Max cost is about 25

Most cu s have a cross license with other cu s and you might not even have to open account at the host

Ps. Evan cash is not safe. Something on the news local about some one on Craig's list took cash and it was counterfeit

With all the new Homeland security laws I would never carry that much cash on me. Some over zealous cop just made a BUST and it's you. I had no trouble getting $32K for a 08 conv. with 10K miles last year. The blue and silver stripes looks fantastic in my book and the car sits right.

Bottom line, just keep your car and sell it when you are old and gray at an auction... this will provide you a safe way and a lot more cash for your ride!! :)
