Just drove an 18 GT with perf. Package, exhaust option,,
Wow what a great ride. Magnaride suspension, grey Brembos. Add the level 2 option and you are closer to the GT350. No it wont be that close but a $17,000 savings.
Makes you think about it. I know.... I am a Shelby guy but $17,000 is $17,000. Ford knocked it our of the park with the 18 GT. Add the right options and you got a killer for $49 all in.

Yes I have a budget. If I didnt I would be posting this.
Does make you stand back and think of that motor and track capability is worth the &17,000. I wont be tracking that much. I have a deposit on an 18 GT350 Spring Build.
Anyway love to hear from fellow Shelby/Mustang guys.
Thank you.

That car is like having a BOSS without the nameplate.

Yup
I was really impressed. Would you still drop the $17 more for the 350?
Have you driven the 18 GT yet ?

I haven’t even seen an ‘18 live and up front.

Your question is a good one. Hmmmmm..... There’s going to be a lot to be said for having the Shelby nameplate, someday down the road.....probably just not in our lifetimes. That’s tough.....

Seems like a great car, under-powered, compared to other current offerings..

If budget were not an issue...Take that 2018 GT PP with magneride, send to Shelby for Super Snake package. Then you have the best suspension and power.

All cars have a beginning of life and end of life value...how much that is depends on how long you own it. That said, a 2011 GT500 cost about $54k new....and an equipped 2011 Mustang GT new was $34k, or $20k less. (start of the al block & start of the 5.0, so best comparison I can think of at the moment)

Today a 2011 GT500 will fetch $35k to be fair to what's in the market, and the GT...well $18k seems reasonable ....which is around a $17k difference, so in the end the GT500 might cost $3k more.

Mustang guys, car guys, 6-7 years from now, will stroll right by the 18 GT sitting in a local Coatco parking spot, but stop and look at any Shelby.

One more note...do your prices include tax? If not, your GT350 is starting to approach a low mileage GT350 price.
