Greetings all.

The first Shelbyfest was by all means a smashing success. What started out as a casual gathering of 10 cars or so grew to beyond 25 cars.

Shelbyfest 2008 is offically scheduled for Saturday April 19th in Hermann MO. In the coming weeks we will post much in fo aboiut the event, including the 1/4 mile event at Gateway INternational Raceway the night before in St Louis.

We also are putting together a website specific to the event and will post a link as sonn as it's up and running in a couple of weeks.

This year promises to be even better with cars coming from as far away as Texas, Pennsylvania, and Canada.

Robert and Sharon are going to be supporting the event and helping to make it an annual occurence.

There are tons of things coming together that I will announce in a couple of weeks when we get the website up.

I will post a link to a photo album from last year.

I look forward to meeting all of you there as last year's event sparked some great friendships.

We have been talking to Kyle about ShelbyFest for some time. Team Shelby/Shelby Autos will have a presence at ShelbyFest and we are planning on bringing a new GT500KR.

Just one clarification though, Shelby Autos will be supporting Shelby Fest, not just me.

Here is a couple of pictures taken from 2007 Shelby Fest. The wife and I really had a good time and look forward to the 2008 event.

The track outting the friday before the Shelby Fest in Herman, MO was a blast as well as the convoy headed to Herman, MO from St.Louis.

Sounds like a fun weekend.Will have to to check out what in our plans just may have to attend. About 14 hours from home but will be worth it.Hope no snow!!!!

We'll a dignitary such as you in 1st class to Lambert in St Louis and then rent you a stretched GT500 limo to take you to Hermann style.

Indianapolis airport is an hour from me, and you can ride with me to St. Louis....4 hour drive.

Of course this assumes I can get off work to go.

I will be there and look forward to the drive from gateway to Herman again I also think it is
a good Idea to stay overnight Saturday in Herman.
Kyle, I have heard that there are some nice Bed & Breakfast in Herman. I may stay at
one of them unless the whole group will be staying at the same hotel.
Thinking about this will help the winter blues.
