The GT500KR attracted more people than most other cars at Ford's booth. It was nice to see it in person. Initially, when I first saw the KR I was a bit pissed that our GT500 didn't have the same type of hood....or that ours didn't have the SHELBY lettering across the deck lid. But now that I've seen it in person....I kinda like the way my GT500 looks better. I'm not saying that the GT500KR isn't a great looking car...it is...but it didn't blow me away as much as I thought it would.

There is still one thorn in my side and that has to do with the 40th anniversary badging around the cobra. I think all of us 2007 owners should have that on our cars. All of our cars are 40th anniversary cars. I believe those emblems should be available to us as well.

I agree the stock GT500 hood looks better and I will be at the show on
friday excited to see the KR.
I plan on keeping my 08 GT500 stock looking and do my own
performance upgrades.
I would not be surprised to find the 40th aniversory badging available to purchase.
