I'm renting this one this weekend, great ride, BUT these babies are being trashed by renters. smashing luggage into the rear end putting it in trunk, scratches everywhere, gouges out of side scoops, very bad. this one however if you come across it and maybe are going to buy it, i think the hood has been damaged and repaired very badly. right top had many ripples, passenger side fit 1/2" lower than right. very very sad. but hey makes me want a shelby gt now :), just gotta sell my 1971 convertible for down payment :)

I would have to agree on the trashing. I was talking to a neighbor who is selling his 69 Mach 1. He said a friend of his had rented a GT-H in Denver. The friend decided to show him a power induced tail out exit out of a parking lot and blew out both rear tires going over a curb. They had to get a tow truck and get the tires fixed. He told his buddy to return it at night as the rims were seriously damaged. :( I asked him if he remembered the number of the car, but he didn't.

In regards to CSM 06H0040 I have a deposit down on this vehicle at a Dealer in Indiana.I am supposed to pick it up next Saturday. If you would'nt mind giving me a call or posting your number up so I can contact you and discuss this as the dealer has assured me that the car is a 9-9.5 out of 10.I understand they were rentals and have some bruises and damage but if 040 was messed up badly I would like to know. The autocheck/carfax has come back clean but that means nothing. Thanks for the heads up.

Probably mine. :banghead: When I purchased car had 4 Clearly new rims and goodyear tires. Found out later that there were rear qtr repairs done (Mako does crap work IMO), BUT car runs and drives well and eventually I will have it repainted and repairs redone. BTW the paint on these rentals is awful....Full of swirls etc which is probalby just the way the cars are prepped after use. :censored: My car was Colorado registered.

As for #40, I have not heard anything back from the post originator here and he has not responded to my pm either.I called my salesman and he assured me that the car is in good to excellent condition. The Autocheck/Carfax came back clean showing no signs of theft/damage.I am leaving Michigan Friday afternoon and traveling to Indiana to pick it up Saturday morning. I will post pics when I get it home for you all.
