Now that we have our forum up and running ..(thank you Team Shelby again...)....and we have your undivided attention.......
We would like to ask for all members of any genre of Shelby/Mustang class to assist us in locating as many members as possible that have purchased component parts from SAI directly or had full or partial modifications for these CS6 / CS8 vehicles .
Unfortunately, CS6/CS8 vehicles do not qualify for a registry which makes it very difficult to document where these vehicles are, or how many have been built.
These are Shelby designed vehicles, with two clear package options offered for a complete vehicle however individual components are still available.
In the words of SAI..... because the vehicles have not been "up-fitted" at their facility they conform as "enthusiast class" only.
Sterling Ford in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada have recently become authorized to build these vehicles and are proposing a grand scale venue to showcase these CS series vehicles.
In conjunction with this main event, they are requesting the presence of all Shelby, Mustangs or enthusiast type vehicles that would like to attend this event as it will be a full day of prizes, judging, media coverage (television, radio and newspaper) which will finish off with a planned cruise event.
There has also been full commitment from Modified Mustang Magazine to cover this event so the chance to have focus on individual vehicles is very good.
The event will take place May 10th 2008 in Ottawa...
There is another pre-forum post floating around somewhere from "stang myster"with all the details but if you have any vehicle information what so ever could you please have them contact me directly and I will attempt to document all participants and forward this information to the party in Ottawa responsible for organizing this event.
Even if you just love the look of the CS vehicles and have purchased even a GT-H /CS6/8 hood we would like to see you participate in this event.
Very Best Regards
Randy..
