I have what I was told to be a hood from a 1967 shelby prototype. The hood looks like a typical 1967 shelby hood except there are eight circular cutouts like webbers. The hood appears to be all original. Please help me identify this part. I sold my car but kept the hood. I would like to properly document what it is so that I can sell it to someone who can appreciate what it is. Thanks for all your help. it really looks aftermarket, just from the top of the hoodscoop alone, and the bottom looks like a early attempt of ram air

If it is a prototype it would be very hard to document. Under the hood looks nothing like under my 67' GT500 hood.

It looks like an early Glass over steel hood that someone unfortunately hacked up
by punching holes. (Hilborn stacks?)
The notched steel at the rear was to clear the oval air cleaner.
Should be able to fix it.
An original early hood is worth some $$.
I know, I had to buy one.
