I know there's a few of us from central indiana that will take I 70 over. Figured I'd start posting and see if maybe we could come up with a few places and times to try to meet up for the big cruise out. I know Alloy Dave is towing his ride and will be taking this route but I'm not sure when he's going.

I plan to leave my house on Firday at about noon EST since it is about 4-5 hours drive and we pick up an hour heading there I should be there in time to check in and get ready for what ever the evening holds. I'll have my wife and son who just turned 4 so we may have to stop more than I would alone for potty breaks but I tend to not like to get below a 1/4 tank reading on the car so i stop for gas a lot anyway. If anyone is interested in meeting up along the way let me know and we can pass cel phone numbers and try to figure out a good place to meet up. Maybe set a couple of places for people and try to get times lined up along the way.


If anyone has any good meeting points feel free to share. For people coming in from OH if you take 465 to the North around Indy you could go 5-6 miles out of your way and meet me at my front door The neighbors all love the car and would enjoy that for sure.

I was hoping to hook up with Alloy Dave or anybody else that wants to in Effingham illinois, It's right on Hwy 70 about 2 hours from O'Fallon
You all that are hooking up let me know if this is viable.

There are a number of us coming form the Northern Ill/So Wi coming down 55-maybe we can arrange a meet up around the 55/70 junction to cruise the rest of the way into O'fallon

Nothing I know of but We are planning to leave Indy at about Noon or 1pm EST on Friday. ANyone that is traveling I-70 from Indy to St. Louis is welcome call my cel and we can try to figure something out. 317-679-4921. It will be a full car with stuff and Kyle and Kelly with me

Iceman, I will call you around noon Indy time to get the time you will be leaving, and set a time to meet up in Effingham Il, it is 40 min's west of Terre haute on hwy 70, we can meet at the first Effingham exit, it will say 45 north, there is a gas station just north of the exit., my cell number is 217-273-7436.
