Correction on the Lindbergh & I-44 exit. That is a Wal-mart instead of a Lowe's right behind White Castle on Lindbergh & I-44. The Wal-mart parking lot would make a good meet/gathering spot for a smoove, safe, less traffic congestion merge onto I-44 as we head to Herman, MO.

Meet & departure times on Sat. 4-19-08 for those close to these locations:

Meet Baymont Hotel 6:15 a.m.

Depart Baymont Hotel 6:45 a.m.

Arrive at Burger King 7:00 a.m. for a quick breakfast for those wanting a bite to eat.

Depart Burger King 7:30 a.m.

Arrive Wal-Mart at I-44 and Lindbergh 8:00 a.m.

Depart Wal-Mart at 8:20 a.m. Headed to Herman, MO

Arrive in Herman hopefully around 10:00 - 10:30 a.m.

Won't it be better and easier going out I-70? Heading North off of I-44 will be a PITA. Especially if it rains?

We take I-70 leaving Herman, MO, but the route going was chosen due to the beautiful, hilly, winding roads as we enter Herman to give new comers a pleasant memorable experience.

Trust me, it is a very cool route we take going into Herman from St.Louis. I will post later the route we take after I get a call from the gentlemen in our group that led us to Herman last year.

Last year you came in on 50 from the south because 100 was blocked off because the road washed out just outside of Hermann. When you are on 44, take the Pacific/Washington exit. I believe it is the second 100 exit. Head west on 100 and it will take you through Washington and New Haven and finallly into Hermann. Go to the second stop sign and turn left on to 19 south. Hermann Ford is on the right from there. This route willl get you there quicker without going through Union and you get to go through town in a sort of a parade.
