This Saturday, July 26, our club, The Inland Empire Mustang Club is hosting an open car show. There are many different Mustang classes, including a Shelby class. This is our eigth year to host "Hotwheels In Millwood". The show is held in the city park of Millwood, which is a small community in the near valley. It is a beautiful park and the show is all on grass. We have vendors to appeal to everyone - food, ice-cream, in-expensive jewelry, show shirts, and others. The show registration is 12:00 until 3:00. People's choice balloting starts at 2:30. Awards starts at 5:30. There are classes for both stock and modified cars. The show averages about 250 cars each year. There is a goodie bag and dash plaques given to each entry. We have two Bingo games - $25 and $50 cash is won. Lots of donated door prizes and many very nice raffle items are there.
Street Rods, Muscle cars, Trucks, Packards and Pierce Arrows, some Bikes (we would like more) are there to be seen and judged. All classes go three deep on trophies. Our club does not participate in voting. Many of us have come to the west side for The Round-Up. Come over to the sunny dry side of the state for a smaller, but fun show. Registration is $15.00 on the day of the show.
