Like Hemmings Motor News, Popular Mechanics Magazine has just listed the Shelby GLHS as a top 10 buy as a future collectible.

I'm looking for a 1986 Shelby GLHS and they go ahead and post this. I hope the prices don't go up too fast since they only made several hundred.

Actually, I think with SAI now backing the Dodge models, we will see a renewed interest in them and thus higher prices.

Robert

The two cars showing the most interest these past couple of years are the 1986 Shelby GLHS and the 1989 Shelby CSX. The GLHS has made several "sleeper" lists lately as a best buy.

If you're into the 1989 CSX there is still a dealer that has one brand new for $20k in the midwest.

The 80s Mopars are already rising. I paid $1200 for my Rampage 4 years ago and ones in similar condition are selling for twice that now.

Funny how the other car I'd like to own in the near future is one of the top 10.
The SVO Stang...if it weren't for those cars, I wouldn't have my S car.

The insurance company I had back in 86 convinced me that the GLHS gonna be more my 'speed'. :spend:
